Help a fellow player and his courageous son - Reading Men's Softball League

July 20th, 2018   /   Posted by admin

Coaches and Players,

Howse (D1) coach Bob Sigsbury and his wife Allison will be hosting a Corn Hole Tournament Fundraiser for Bob’s business partner Steve Segreve (a RMSL player), his wife Corrine and their family.

Steve’s family was hit with terrible news this past month that their little 18 month old Joey has been diagnosed with Wilm’s Tumor on his left kidney.

Alongside his super supportive parents and two amazing older brothers, Alex and Jake, Joey has started his fight against cancer. From diagnosis to treatment, Joey’s care has been top priority and has been started rather quickly. He is very fortunate to be in Boston where he will be receiving care and treatments at Dana-Farber. This is just the beginning for the Segreve Family, but Joey has shown that he IS stronger than this awful disease and has been smiling through it all so far.

The RMSL family wants the Segreve Family to know that they are not fighting this terrible battle alone. Bob and Allison we will be holding this fundraiser on Saturday July 28, 2018. It will be $50.00 per corn hole team.

Bob and Allison are currently collecting donations and raffle prizes. They do realize that you donate to various worthy causes throughout the year, and assure you that any amount would be greatly appreciated for this family. No obligations of course, and thank you for your consideration. RMSL will be providing the family a monetary donation.
